The Course Ad Kit ("we," "us," or "our") operates courseadkit.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
We believe in being straightforward about this stuff. We collect only what we need to deliver the product you purchased, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
When you purchase The Course Ad Kit through our payment processor, we receive your name and email address to create your account. We do not receive or store your credit card details, billing address, or other payment information — that stays entirely with the payment processor.
When you use the AI Ad Copy Generator, you provide answers about your business, including:
This information is used solely to generate your custom AI prompt. It is stored in your account so you can return to it later.
When you use the Ad ROI Calculator, your inputs (course price, ad budget figures, etc.) are autosaved to your account for your convenience.
We use a passwordless login system. When you log in, we generate a 6-digit code sent to your email address. We store:
We do not store passwords because our login system does not use them.
Payment Processors: Purchases are handled entirely by ThriveCart or LemonSqueezy. They process your payment and send us only your name and email. Your credit card and billing information never touches our servers.
Meta Pixel & Conversions API: On our landing page, we use the Meta Pixel to track page views and button clicks (PageView and AddToCart events). When you log into your dashboard, we send a ViewContent event to Meta's Conversions API with your email hashed (SHA-256) — Meta receives the hash, not your actual email. You can opt out using browser extensions that block the Meta Pixel or by adjusting your Facebook ad preferences.
AI Services: We do not send your data to any AI provider. The Course Ad Kit generates a text prompt that you copy and paste into your own ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI account. Any interaction with an AI service is between you and that provider.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as described above (payment processors, Meta for advertising measurement, and email delivery for login codes). We may disclose your information if required by law.
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you do, your email is replaced with an anonymized placeholder, your name is replaced with "Deleted User," and your questionnaire responses, calculator saves, and login tokens are cleaned up. We use encrypted sessions, CSRF protection, security headers, HTML sanitization, and rate-limited login attempts. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
The Course Ad Kit is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top.
